on December 17th at around 6pm someone from the apple.com domain read my blog... cool... they even hung around for a minute and 23 seconds...

Why I Hate MS Word

The stupid Auto everything... some of which you can turn off... some of which you cant... When I make a new line, I don't want stupid autoeverything to automatically tab over for me... I want to do it my self...(cant turn that off)

When I type "Teh" I want to correct it myself to "The"... (can turn that off)

Styles are the most infuriating... I think I have finally obliterated Times New Roman from the Normal style... but I am never sure if it is going to come back...(can change that, but it seems to change back ocassionally)

I would kill Clippy if I met him on the street...(I think he is gone... I deleted him, and wrote random bits over his former disk location for 6 months... but would not be surprised to see him again)

The most annoying thing is that there are options to turn off some stuff... but those options aren't saved all the time... but they are saved sometimes...

I can't even explain the problem I am having with tabs... Sometimes they get messed up (like one line will have a bunch of custom tabs added (not by me, just randomly) removing the tabs fixes it, but sometimes they come back... sometimes the little bottom tab slider gets moved over, FOR NO FREAKING REASON... AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHGHGHGHGHGHGHGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGH

proper .pdf use

I am putting a copy of a paper I am doing for school online for people to critique... It includes hebrew and greek fonts... not everyone has these fonts... therefore .pdf is great... Good thing OS X has a "print to .pdf" option.

5 1/2 Months... 1000 hits

I broke 1000 visitors! Yeah... but if I took out all the hits because of (certain words not mentioned, so that hopefully my ranking will go down) I would probably have around 200 hits :-)

I haven't seen too much of this link spaming unless they are trying to get me to click on one of the links on the search page... Most of my referrals are search engines... I end up high on @n@rchi$t'$ c00kb00k a lot.

I am finding my brother's idea (it's in his blog, just search around) is very useful... It is like a computer controlled index for many of amazon's titles... luckily Modern Library has given permission to search Moby Dick... since I have a paper to write on it....

It is interesting that in all of these lists, 99% of the "contradictions" are rhetoric... there are some difficult passages they bring up, but most are easily cleared up by reading more than they list... (I guess a list of less than 5 items isn't very impressive?)

Soo... the animals cannot escape? Let me dust off my basic math skills ( soo basic that Euclid doesn't even include it in his Common Notions) 500 is greater than 417... What happened to the other 83 birds? If "sporting" is negatively defined in the first paragraph, where does the Humane Society get off calling this "unsporting"?

Ephesians5:22-24
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Obviously any idiot can see what this statement is saying. It is VERY specific in its words. It is saying women must submit to their husbands in everything! The Calvary Chapel says it means men and women have equal responsibility in a relationship. That is simply not true. It specifically says man is like Christ to a woman. It says NOTHING WHATSOEVER about a man's duty to a woman. While other statements may hint towards more mutual statements, this passage is very clear, and very sexist. Very very sexist. No argument.

Let's give an EXACT example of a Bible contradiction. There is no way to interpret this differently. It is a specific contradiction of itself. A lot of Christians will not acknowledge that The Bible has contradictions in it, or once they find that the Bible does have contradictions they will chaotically search for a way to "interpret" it."

Lets look specifically at "It says NOTHING WHATSOEVER about man's duty to a woman...."
Hmm... next verse: "Husbands , love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, ... (description of holiness)... In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself." (Ephesians 5:25-28 NIV) "... Each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband." (Ephesians 5:33)

"There is no way to interpret this differently." Indeed.
